We regret to inform that there are workers in our factory tested positive for Covid-19 and they are now under the care of a government hospital.
We had immediately taken the necessary actions which include closure of the affected factory facilities to facilitate thorough disinfection and sanitisation in accordance to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health (“MOH”).
We are also working closely with the MOH to perform contact tracing and are making the necessary arrangements for our employees in close contact with the affected workers to undergo the Swab test. They will be placed on home quarantine pending their Covid-19 test results.
The health and safety of our employees are our top priority. As a precautionary measure to minimise potential exposure to other employees, we had scaled down our manufacturing activities and immediately shut down the affected factory facilities for two (2) days, subject to further closure upon the requirements of the MOH/Government/KKM. We have also immediately activated work from home arrangements for all non-critical employees.
We will continue to work closely with the MOH and will adhere to the guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our employees.
